Unpatti Held Training on Student Creativity Program

Poka, 10 August 2017. Unpatti held a training activity of Student Creativity Program in 2017. This activity was conducted for 2 days starting from 10-11 August 2017. The activity, which is held in 2nd floor of Rectorate Unpatti building. It was attended by lecturers and 200 students from all faculties. Vice Rector III Drs. J. Madubun, M.Si. who gave the speech and officially opened this activity said this training is one of the programs that are prepared for Unpatti students so that through this training the students would gain more understanding on how to write a good proposal based on the expectations.  It is aimed so more UNPATTI students can pass to the National Students Scientific Week. He hopes that through this PKM Training, students are able to be more innovating, doing more research and spreading more brilliant ideas in their proposal contents.

Latuhorte Wattimury, MT, in his report said that this training is a continuation of the socialization which was previously conducted in July for nine faculties where the socialization is looking for local contents. Each faculty provide general explanation related to PKM. This training is aimed to prepare students to perform better on how to make a good proposal hence it can pass the selection stage.

The activities were carried out for 2 days and presented  two speaker persons; Prof. Dr. Ir. Sulistiono, M.Sc Lecturer Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science IPB with topic Rules and Tricks of proposal writing, and  Dr. Ir. Marleen Sunyoto, MP Lecturer from the Faculty of Industrial AgricultureTechnology of Padjajaran University with topic Student Creativity Stimulus.

pkm 2017At the end of the training, the question and answer session were held.  In the first day, both the speakers gave the opportunity to the students whose proposal will be sent to be corrected directly and get feedbacks from both the speakers. (Hotumese).


Unpatti to send 13 Representatives to the 15th National Student MTQ Competition

Poka, 25 July 2017. The development of the young generation entirety is not sufficient only in its physical-intellectual aspect, but must also build their mental-spiritual side, from primary, secondary and tertiary education.

Students, as future generations of the nation, are human resources that need to be educated well, not only limited to the mastery of science and technology alone, but also the development of character and personality. Hence, development effort and mental-spiritual development to be done as an effort to increase piety to God Almighty, as well as their understanding and appreciation of the content of the Holy Qur’an.

In the framework of the whole human development, the involvement of UNPATTI Students in the 15th National Student MTQ Contest 2017 in Malang has been carried out through a selection process and coaching for more than a month since the opening of university level selection, which was held on May 17.

By the end of the process of coaching for 13 students UNPATTI, on 24 July 2017 at Rectorate Building 4th floor, Rector, Prof. M.J. Saptenno released symbolically the participants for the contest, by appealing that in the face of this national competition event, all participants should begin with prayer as a power that can change everything. Of the 13 participants presumably one can lift the name UNPATTI in the national arena. “Maintain health, discipline in practice, uphold sportsmanship”, said Rector.

Drs. J. Madubun, M.Si, Vice Rector on Student and Alumni Affairs explained that the competition will be held on 28 July until 4 August in Universitas Brawijaya and Universitas Negeri Malang. UNPATTI would send 13 participants to participate in 7 contests. UNPATTI contingent consists of 32 people including Team and Official which will be departed to Malang on Wednesday, July 26, 2017.

Under the theme “Through the 15th National Student MTQ in 2017, we integrate intellectuality and spirituality to create candidates for intelligent and moral leaders of Indonesia to realize the “Baldatun thayyibatun wa rabbun ghafur“, presumably the achievement of National Education objectives, as stated in Law Number 20 Year 2003 on National Education System (Sisdiknas), is to create Indonesian human being which are knowledgeable with knowledge, faithful, cautious to Allah SWT, noble character, personality, discipline, physical and spiritual health.
